The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America by Erik Larson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Very interesting book. I'd heard of Holmes before but didn't really know much about him. This still only scratches the surface but it's an interesting tie in with the World's Fair.

Review: Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood
Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Wow. Just wow. What an amazing life this guy has lived, and he's still so young. Not only is his story extraordinary, but he weaves the tale well.

Review: First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong
First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong by James R. Hansen
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
A lot of the information in this book is pretty technical and not always the easiest to follow. One of my favorite bits of information I learned is that, before he was an astronaut, he worked on a research project called Dyna-Soar.
This was surprisingly boring.

Review: An Echo in the Bone
An Echo in the Bone by Diana Gabaldon
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This one was quite good. Makes me sad though that I have only one left in the series.

Review: Blood of Elves
Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This site says this is book 3 but my library had it as book 1. I didn't seem to have missed anything vital o this story by starting here anyway. Looking forward to seeing how Netflix does with the adaptation.
