It took me a long time to get into this book. I just couldn't get interested in it. None of the characters were that relatable or likable, it made it difficult for me to care about them. The momentum eventually does pick up but the characters don't really get any more likable but they do get more human. I read The Interestings not long ago and had very similar feelings towards that book, they seemed quite similar in style. I might have liked it more if I hadn't disliked the other book so much so recently.
