I'd been wanting to read this book for a while now so was happy to finally get to it. The comparisons listed with To Kill a Mockingbird and The Help are pretty appropriate, except that there really wasn't any of the humor found occasionally in The Help. I read most of this book during my down time at work and had a hard time keeping from tearing up in front of my co-workers. I've already recommended this to a few people and would encourage anyone to read it.
