Feels like a combo of Girl on the Train and Rear Window. Seems slightly unfeasible as you can't really see inside someone's home during the day, unless they have a lot of bright lights on. Even then, you wouldn't see much due to daylight window glare. I was a little disappointed I figured it out but it was a good ride of a story.
