I was a bit distracted by the character named Noone. I couldn't decide if it was supposed to be pronounced "no one" or "noon." It was a bit bothersome.
It was really easy to figure out how the story was going to play out. Probably because stuff like this did really happen. It's a history that is not much pondered in America so probably a very good read, particularly these days with race tensions so high.
